Iridology - What Your Eyes Can Tell You With Regards To Your Health
Your Eyes and Your Health
Have you ever looked into a mirror and looked really closely into your eyes? How do they appear? The eyes can tell you so much with regards to what’s going on with your health. Different parts of the eyes relate to different organs in your body.
We’ve all heard of the iris, cornea, pupil, retina etc.. but did you know the ’sclera’ is the name of the white part of your eyes? I didn’t know that, not until I recently looked at an Iridology chart.
I suppose you have to be pretty skilled in understanding Iridology, I’m certainly not, it’s not something I’ve read much about apart from looking at an eye chart and trying to understand it a little more. It’s quite amazing our eyes can tell us so much about our health.
The sclera and the iris are the two main areas of my eyes that I noticed a change ie., mainly in colour and vibrancy. My normal eye colour is a vibrant bright blue.
For years when I was continually suffering the intolerable symptoms I talk about, that’s when my eyes were really at their worst. I would always notice a significant and sudden change in how my eyes appeared. The whites of my eyes (the sclera) and also the iris - the colour part of my eyes, I’d notice a distinct change in both. The whites of my eyes would turn a dark, dull colour and I’d also notice the blue colouring of my eyes turn to a dark greyish colour. My eyes didn’t look vibrant at all, not bright nor vibrant blue. I’d also notice some areas of the whites of my eyes have very tiny, red blotch marks. (I’d notice this more at the sides.)
It’s not until I started looking at an Iridology Chart in more detail that I realised that if an organ in your body is weak or under stress in any way, it can reflect in the appearance of your eyes. I suppose your eyes are like health’s little indicators.
I also read that an organ can change from being inflamed to being chronically weak. The whites will change to grey, ie., the darker the grey in colour, the weaker the organ. During health improvements, (just like I have seen happen) you can begin to see changes in your eyes’ appearance whereby the grey areas become lighter in colour, returning to a more white colour and then finally being restored to their original colour. But this process can take many years.
Example of an Iridology Chart - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iridology
Changes in colour or appearance of the iris are said to indicate changes in the health of the corresponding section of the body (see chart). Re: chart, you will note that the chart for the right iris relates to the left side of the body and vice versa.
When I read more about Iridology I was able to understand a little better why I was noticing these changes in my eyes both when experiencing the intolerable symptoms and also noticing the (reverse) ie., changes in my improving health also.
For example, three recent studies showing good success in detecting diabetes:
