I coughed up this (Fri 1st Feb) - Worm?
*Edit to post. I’ve been asked to amend the size of my picture I posted regarding what I coughed up so I’ve resized it.
Although I’ve been doing really well health-wise, recently, I developed a bit of a cough. You may wonder, why would I become concerned about a cough? It could be anything? But I’d experienced this before, I knew what I was feeling wasn’t just an ordinary bout of coughing. Something was really aggravating my lungs. I didn’t like what I was experiencing at all. I have reason to be concerned. Although I’m feeling better, I’m still not entirely symptom-free.
What I noticed first was that I experienced an increase in mucus slime (which I’ve always experienced, albeit for a long time now I’ve only had to deal with small mucus slicks). I also began to notice my nasal passages began to increase with mucus too. I was blowing my nose quite a bit trying to clear the mucus. I also noticed very slight traces of blood within the nasal mucus. I also experienced a slight odour from my nose (I used to experience copious amounts of mucus slime that I’d constantly bring up on a daily basis and I also experienced really bad nasal odour, constantly). The odour I just dread! It’s awful. Albeit the mucus and odour was to a much lesser degree than what I was experiencing before. When ALL of my symptoms were intolerable, the mucus slime and nasal congestion were always extremely bad but this recent episode is nothing compared to what I experienced before. I also had a headache and my head felt weird.
These symptoms have not bothered me for a long time. But with the recent increase I did become a little concerned. The cough didn’t seem right at all.
I’ve reported in my recent update posts that I’ve been doing so much better health-wise and I continue to feel better but this recent episode I wondered whether something was brewing. Since I’ve been improving I’ve never experienced an increase in mucus slime/nasal mucus/nasal odour, quite the opposite, I’ve noticed it get better and better but this latest episode it did make me wonder.
I also began to experience bouts of coughing and my chest felt a little mucousy. I also felt something aggravating my lungs. My throat felt tickly too. Early evening I experienced a bout of coughing and up came mucus but I could feel something within the mucus and I’d felt this before. I could feel something stringy/strand-like.
I’ve posted a picture below, at the end of my post. I took a look and within the mucus I could see, what I consider to be, a white worm! Ascaris? (I was diagnosed with this years ago). I had intolerable symptoms for years and I coughed up something very similar back in 2009. A copy of the link regarding the post I made back in 2009 is also posted at the end of this post. What I recently coughed up looks exactly like what I coughed up way back in 2009. I believe both are worms.
I don’t have a microscope nor do I have any preservative fluid in which I could contain the sample. If I had, I’d have taken the specimen to my GP and asked for it to be analysed.
Although I’m still doing better health-wise, I still have some symptoms but to a much lesser degree.
So here’s my latest specimen. This is what I recently coughed up, just a few days ago! Beside the specimen I placed a needle, for comparison in size -
Below is the other post with the specimen I coughed up way back in 2009! - Comparison? They most definitely look very similar! Worms?! I’m near certain.
With regards to the nasal odour, I noticed this again at the time I was experiencing the coughing bouts, although the odour was less intense than before. I find the odour very distressing indeed not only did I suffer terrible nasal odour which was absolutely foul it appeared to come out of my pores too. It's the most distressing thing ever!
Thank you for your comments. Feedback is always good.
You say the head is quite distinct. Which end is the head?
Fatty & fried foods
Citrus juice & fruits
Reclining after eating
Eating large meals
Eating before going to bed
Bending over at the waist
Wearing tight clothing that constricts the mid-portion of the body
Carminatives (peppermint, spearmint, cinnamon, garlic, onions, rosemary, basil
THESE THINGS REALLY EXIST!
Yes, yes, yes. I've tried numerous parasite cleanses over the years. Capsule formulas, syrup formulas, tincture formulas, most of which contain Wormwood, Black Walnut Hulls and Cloves. Many formulas I've tried contained these 3 important herbs but also many other herbs that help with the process.
I wasn't seeing a lot of change when I first started to deal with my symptoms. It took years before I felt a difference in my symptoms. Over the years, the more cleanses I have done, the better I have felt. I have been taking many different herbs, not just anti-parasitics but also anti-lyme, immune boosting herbs, enzymes, detox herbs, anti-bacterials/fungals/virals, digestive aids etc.
it's not a worm, and we don't cough out worms.
i have asthma, i smoke, and i experienced this too about 3-5 years ago. gave me a shock back then.
Thank you for your comment.
There is documentation of a woman who experienced breathlessness, wheezing, persistent coughing, flu-like symptoms, fever, exhaustion, tightness in chest. (Monsters Inside Me programme).
The woman vomitted up what she described to be white worms and there were many of them. At first she thought it was stringy mucus but she saw something moving. The vomitting began when she was at home (witnessed by friends and her mother). She was taken to hospital. She was vomitting again, whilst in the hospital she went to the toilet where she vomitted up more of the same. She collected a sample and presented it to the nurses.
It was found to be ascaris worms. And there were many.
She was also diagnosed as suffering from asthma.
I actually watched the Monsters Inside Me programme which showed this case. Here's the post in my own words as to how I understood the programme. See Case 2 listed in the post.
Ascaris does affect the lungs, eggs are laid and coughed up.
