Foul Smell and Die Off ?
I’ve always wondered whether at times the foul smell could be responsible for die-off. I have read that symptoms of parasite infections can incude foul body odour. It’s like it comes out of my pores. It’s always been hard for me to pinpoint exactly because I’ve always experienced it, even on flare-ups. But sometimes I have noticed it can be slightly different. It is still very foul smelling indeed. I can’t describe it really.
I mentioned this to my practitioner who is helping me and they seemed to be in agreement that it could perhaps be die-off. It’s difficult to call really because I’ve experienced it on flare-ups when I’m not taking any herbs, meds so I’d say it was more of a symptom than die-off. For me, it’s difficult to know for sure. After I experience it, days later I usually feel really quite good. Until….. I get another flare-up.
It’s just something I’ve often wondered. Symptom / die-off or both? I think it’s both. With the toxins parasites produce they do expel bad odours. And with die-off, I’m sure the same thing would happen, because when the body is detoxing, the bad stuff leaves the body in many ways, including the skin, which could well indeed produce foul body odours. That’s just my take on it.
