I was taught at a young age that flossing and brushing your teeth are essential. It seems evident that good dental care can help reduce heart attacks or lower pregnancy risks. Many years ago I saw a show where someone stated that mouth bacteria leaches into the blood stream to the heart; proper dental care could help turn back the clock by adding years to your life. There may be something to his theory. The below are two articles indicating the importance of good dental hygiene and how certain mouth bacteria can be harmful.
Below is on a study that was conducted on broccoli sprouts and H. Pylori gut bacteria. There are some other good benefits to broccoli. In general, broccoli is very high in vitamin A and C; when broccoli is eaten with protein it helps bring amino acids to the brain. In my research, I read that broccoli sprouts might be good for reducing Herximer [detox] reaction.
Baby broccoli ‘controls gut bug’
Eating a daily portion of broccoli sprouts could help tame the H. pylori bacteria, linked to stomach ulcers and even cancer, research suggests.
The study in Cancer Prevention Research of 50 people in Japan found eating 2.5 ounces of broccoli sprouts each day for two months may confer some protection.
They contain sulforaphane, previously found to act as an antibiotic.
UK experts said while sprouts may have an effect on the bug, they were likely to make “no difference” to cancer risk.
Here is a picture I drew of what I see in my eyes. I’m not great at drawing, but it’s the best I could do. It is, I have to say, a very close resemblance of what I see in my eyes.
They both appear very worm-like in appearance. In the first drawing of what I see, there appears to be like a pointy thing sticking out the front, and in the middle the wormy thing appears to be tangled up, and at the end of it there appears to be a long tail. (The pointy thing at the front appears to be much thinner than the rest of the organism but I couldn’t draw it any better than what I have done). I see many of these organisms and they are all identical in appearance.
Skeptical Doctors Compound The Problem - Part 1

Living with the difficulties of a mold or parasite infection is very challenging for the sufferer who has the problem. It is particularly daunting when you notice a decline in health that maybe met with skepticism along with a clear indication that your illness isn’t going to be taken seriously. There are several critical reasons why this may happen to you.
Improvements can be changed if enough people or doctors demand a better health and educational system. At the moment, the medical establishment doesn’t believe that there is a problem; instead, the problem is you and not them. Let’s look deeper into this to sort out what is what because attention to these problems is sorely needed. Below are my observations and point-of-view that we all face.
I’ve come across publications citing unusual occurrences where parasites migrate into different parts of the body. Below is an abstract on a fluke found within a tumor, in the cervical region. Flukes are typically found in the liver or intestines.
The last few days I’ve been experiencing a terrible burning sensation from my bottom to the point it can be very sore. It’s mainly when I go to the toilet to empty my bowel. It can still burn for a while afterwards too. My stools appears to be relatively normal looking, but I did notice a slight trace of mucus today. I’ve experienced this burning sensation before but it was usually when I had a bad flare-up. It’s been a while since I experienced a really nasty flare-up.
I’m still taking the Iodine.
A new strain of Bartonella was found last year. There are 20 different Bartonella strains and not all of them respond to the same antibiotic therapy. Below is an article that may be of interests to you on the subject.
Something Was Bugging Me

I shared my experiences of discovering a parasite infection in Invasion of the “Travel Bug”- Except, I Didn’t Travel! and Parasite Hype or Not?. In those articles I talked about poor medical care, resistant issues, how people get infected, worldwide infection rates, medications, and experience using natural remedies. I’ll continue more about my story along with information on practitioners, symptoms, and general information on testing.
I had my appointment with the Infectious Disease Specialist. It went exactly as I thought it would. The Specialist asked me what the problem was and asked that I give a bit of history. I tried as best I could to explain what I have been enduring for years now. This was very difficult indeed to get across how bad things have been for me. I first explained to him that I first noticed the symptoms around March 2003 and since then things just got worse and worse for me.
Copper has been used for centuries to kill parasites and bacteria. Recently, tests have proven that copper does kill bacteria; such as, MRSA. Hospitals are changing their fixtures to copper because of the benefits it provides with killing bacteria. Adding copper door knobs to public bathrooms might help with those who don’t believe in washing their hands!
Copper Kills Bacteria
It’s official – copper can kill harmful bacteria. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has brought in the long awaited ruling that copper can legitimately claim to be capable of combating infections.
My interests in iodine supplementation came about when I started to read more about Lyme infections. Iodine can be helpful as a supplement for many ailments and microbial infections.
What I learned, however, is that iodine shouldn’t be taken with herbs that contain alkaloids or Homeopathic metallic salts. I found this tidbit of information in an old medical book published in 1917, “Materia Medica Dr. Potter". Here’s what is said about iodine/iodides:
Session 4 took place 48 hours after. But first, I needed to have a long chat with Margaret. I asked her with total bewilderment, how was I able to pass so much stool? How could this be?? Margaret told me a few stories like mine, where people with years of chronic constipation had come in for colonic sessions; and at around the 3rd or 4th, started to pass huge amounts of faeces. I nodded and understood. What else could she tell me? She mentioned that it takes a few sessions for the old and hardened stool to re-hydrate, soften up, and be ready to dislodge and evacuate. I realised that this explained the “debris” I noticed in session 2. She told me many people, like myself, were “in trouble” with their bowels…
Session 2 was also unremarkable, except that a few hours later that night… I was sick, sick, sick!! I felt horrible! The session had gone along as per the previous… nothing major to report on. Water would flow in and flow out without much coming out; but quite a bit of debris, though, I did notice floating down the viewing tube. Next morning I rang Margaret and told her how sick I had felt the night before, and still felt. She re-assured me that this was common and suggested that the last colonic had stirred up toxins and that I should come in as soon as possible for another session to release the toxins straight away. The next day, I came, for Session 3.
Pathogenic bacteria is area that I’m learning about because it is also a major problem when dealing with health issues. During my research into health I’ve focused a lot of my time understanding worm parasites; and, in the last couple of years I’ve learned a little about molds/fungi. Bacterial infections are the least of the 3 co-factors that I know about. There is so much to learn that it is overwhelming, but it is necessary when doctors don’t always have answer and you have to become a detective.
It seems as though scientific studies are indicating that Bartonella might be a major problem with 20 strains discovered, thus far. Not only is Bartonella found in mice and rats, but it is also in dogs, cats, cattle, and a host of wild animals. Below are several reports on this:
My first appointment was with Margaret, a lovely middle aged woman looking many years younger than her actual age. The whites of her eyes were so white and she looked so “clean” that I decided straight away this colonics thing must be doing her good. I also pryed out of her very early on that she would have several colonic sessions a month on an ongoing and regular basis.
